We had not been up in your area for over thirty years, and it was our first stay at your facilities. I was impressed with how you handled all of us upon our arrival. Your hospitality was GREAT! I wanted to let you know my recent stay at your camp was great! My friend and I came up from the Detroit area for the Mackinac Bridge walk and stayed in one of the new cabins. I was very impressed as I am not a "camper" but just loved your campgrounds. My friend liked them so much she made reservations before we checked out for next Labor Day for her and her family! Everyone we had contact with was friendly and very helpful. What a wonderful experience for this non camper lol Thanks again!

We just wanted to let you and everyone interested in camping at your campgrounds that it is tremendous. We have come up there almost every year for the past 6 years and have never been disappointed. The changes to the grounds, store, and arcade are a plus, but did not change our opinion of everything there. We have been on the same site or very close each year and words cannot describe how nice everything and everybody is and have always been. We plan on being there again next year and look forward to another great time.

My family and I just spent a week at your campground, and all of us had a really great time! With the rising cost of fuel, we had to cut some of our plans. However, your campground, being so close to Mackinaw City made it seem like we didn't miss a thing! Even on the days when we didn't leave the park, everyone found something to do, whether it was the pool, the lake, the arcade or just sitting around the campsite. This is our second year of camping with you, and we are looking forward to staying with you again next year.

I was warmly greeted in the pro shop by a blond lady. The course was challenging, beautiful, and player friendly. I am spreading the word about the Mackinaw Club to my friends and neighbors. We stayed at your campground last summer -- some of us in campers and some of us in your BEAUTIFUL cabins. I was able to tour several cabins our cousins stayed in, and was completely impressed with the workmanship, cleanliness, design and layout. I told my husband, "If we could buy one of those cabins, I would like to buy some land in Michigan, and sell our camper." Being a person who loves to wander all over Michigan, he was taken aback by my pledge. Many friends and family members turn to me when evaluating places to visit in Michigan, and I ALWAYS recommend your cabins and campground. We've stayed in a variety of places across our great state, and yours ranks at the top!

I just wanted to say thanks for making our first ever camping trip in our first travel trailer an amazing success. We chose Mill Creek because my parents have stayed there many times and have always loved it. The view of the bridge was amazing and the site itself was a perfect fit for our trailer. The park was VERY clean, and provided long paved walkways for our morning walks. We have driven past Mill Creek dozens of times, but last week was our first experience there. We loved it! Your staff is outstanding. They are busy like ants maintaining the roads, stopping to take trash off my hands when I was walking it to a dumpster, and generally doing everything to make this a first-rate experience. I don't think our experience was unique. The guests must all love it because everyone was so very friendly and happy. Your store staff are fabulous. New trees and the plans you have indicate that you are doing everything to ensure Mill Creek continues to be a top-notch destination. No resting on your laurels and letting the facilities slide. The views are spectacular. We were there in a rented RV, but I'm thinking about planning a little sister gathering at one of your cabins because I just want an excuse to return! Thank you so much for going well above average to make so many people happy on their precious vacation time.

We had the best time camping at Mill Creek Campground, we spent a week of our honeymoon September of 2014. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to go every year on our anniversary. The view from the campground was breath taking. From where our campsite was you could see the Mackinaw Bridge out our kitchen window and the Grand Hotel from our bedroom. The campsites where very spacious, bathhouses very clean and people incredibly friendly. We went to the semi truck show in St. Ignas, we toured the Ice Breaker Mackinaw, and did some shopping in town. We cannot wait to go back soon. The best place we have ever stayed!!!

The experience I had at your campground was excellent! The team at your campground is doing an outstanding job and I wanted to compliment all of you on how well kept your sites are.
My friends and I camped the weekend of August 7, 2014. We saw pictures on the campground's website and we were excited to spend the weekend together. The cabin description said we would have a view of the Mackinac Bridge and could see Mackinac Island from our cabin porch. When we arrived the first thing we saw from the porch was just that. Before unpacking, we all walked in the cabin to see what we were going to be staying in for the weekend. The cabin was so clean. We were just amazed at how fresh and new the furniture and beds looked. The floors were free from any dirt and the place overall was spectacular. It was so pleasant having a beach right down the road that was never too crowded. Having the camp store in the middle of the campground was also very convenient. We were first time campers, so we did forget some necessities, but with the camp store down the road from our cabin it made it easy for us to pick up the things we forgot to bring from home.
The entire weekend my friends and I repetitively said to one another, we picked the perfect place to stay this weekend, and we could not have chosen a better campground. The amount of fun and laughter my friends and I shared that weekend was one to remember. Camping at Mackinaw Mill Creek was one of my most fond memories from this past summer. I cannot wait to come back next summer and spend more time there. Thank you so much for taking care of us and keep up the good work. We will see you next summer!

My family and I stayed from July 17 through July 20, 2014. What an EXCELLENT experience!
This was the first camping trip we took with full hook ups with the new 26ft travel trailer. Our site was pretty nice. We did not plan well and booked in May. This still left us with many options. Your staff was very patient and helpful in working with us to select a good site. It was a bit narrow, but we knew that going in. Your staff provided dimensions of all sites available so we could pick a proper site. We were on the outside of loop 2.
Your amenities were great. We used the beach, playground, and biked the campground a lot. The camp store had good selections, too. We especially liked the option to purchase ferry tickets at the store. The ferry shuttle was incredibly convenient.
And those bathroom facilities. WOW!!!!!
One person in our group used the bathroom at 10pm at night. And you had staff cleaning it. (Who does that?) I have never been to a campground with SUCH CLEAN BATHROOM FACILITIES.
The showers were also immaculate. White shower curtains with no mildew. Again, who does that?!?!?!
The mood music was a nice touch.Your patience in our later arrival was much appreciated. And as one of our neighboring campers put it: backing your camper in at 10pm in the dark is like a spectator sport. But they also were very helpful.
Kudos on your grounds. The area between the camp road and lake was such a great public space. We got in a little nap time while watching boats go by and knitting. It was a beautiful setting.
We didn't partake in the hay wagon or fire engine rides, but that was also activity for kids.

Dear Friends: Thanks, once again, for a terrific Labor Day weekend at Mackinaw Mill Creek. This was our 41st year and I can't say enough good things about you. We've always stayed in the wooded area and love it there. You have the check-in down to a science... friendly faces and fast service. I know computers make it easier, but it's the hard work of the staff that really make it go smoothly. The grounds, as always are top notch and well tended. And the "golf cart patrol" makes it a safe environment for our little ones to bike around or play on the great playgrounds. The bathrooms were always clean, a must when I choose campgrounds. This year Sarah at the camp store even loaned me a funnel to help fill water in our camper (and I didn't have to sign my life away to use it). Being able to purchase discounted tickets to area attractions right at the office is an added perk. Our 3 generations sure took advantage of that. Above all, the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff is what makes Mackinaw Mill Creek the great place it is. Thank you for being the best campground around! We have been camping at Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground for the past 34 years over Labor Day week-end. We thought it time to write and tell you how much we appreciate the warm welcome and cleanliness each time we arrive. Even though it is extremely busy, the front office staff are patient and unhurried. The bathrooms are clean, and the campground is always immaculate. We've stayed in the wooded area every year and absolutely love it there. We appreciate the camp staff being vigilant about enforcing quiet hours and other rules that impact all of the campers well being. Your warm hospitality has given us many unforgettable moments with our children, grandchildren, and friends.
