Astronomy Under Sail is a public sailing program in Suttons Bay, Michigan that is organized by the Inland Seas Education Association several times per year.
The night sky is a vast, beautiful region that not many have the privilege of enjoying—from the shore it can be difficult to view. On the Astronomy Under Sail program, you can view the stars and new moon, uninhibited.
During the sail, Astronomer Dick Cookman will help you identify constellations as well as discuss their legends. Cost is $45 per person.
