Family Science Day is where families come together and discover Great Lakes Science. These discovery sessions are filled with Family Friendly hands-on science activities! Each day has a theme that will focus on an aspect of the Great Lakes. There are stories, crafts, and experiments sure to evoke the young scientist in everyone. The program itself is geared toward children 5-12 years old but families of all ages are free to enjoy our Education Center. Family science day is from 10 AM to Noon. An adult is asked to stay with children. Cost per class is $5.00.

Learn about the the web of life in the Great Lakes. Young scientist will create their own food chain and even be apart of one!

Learn all about autumn and the changing seasons.
November 16th: The Legend of the Loon
Discover the majestic loons and other water fowl that call the Great Lakes home.
