This Making the Great Lakes Great - Educator Workshop will provide formal and non-formal educators the opportunity to further explore current Great Lakes issues on-board the schooner Inland Seas. Participants will collect and analyze limnological samples and will build upon their previously existing understanding of the interactions between different trophic levels. This workshop will also provide the opportunity to learn about the impacts of invasive species from Great Lakes professionals. Participants are eligible to receive a small stipend thanks to the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, who is sponsoring this workshop. Additionally, participants will receive some educational materials that can be shared with colleagues and students.
There is no cost to participate in this program.
